Mommy is still working but I think she should retire so she can spend all her time with me. We are on vacation for five weeks but it is almost over. Mommy went to Winnipeg to visit Grandpa and I went to doggy camp aka kennel. I have a great time there. I have lots of friends to play with, we go on three long walks in the country each day, lots of treats, attention from the humans and lots of time playing in the exercise area. Fun,fun,fun!
As much as I had fun it was great to get home and spend time with Mommy. My Mommy always thinks of projects to do around the house. For the last two days I have been supervising some worker guys putting in a small pressed concrete walk. Here is a picture of the walkway
We are having lots of hot weather and a drought. People who live outside the city have empty wells and we have water restrictions. As you can see from the photos the grass is yellow. We hope to get rain soon.

Crikey Jelly .... I've been soooooooooo worried about you. I've tried to find you on the book of faces and I did but I couldn't contact you there. I asked EVERYONE I knew from dogster if they had heard from you. I left messages on your blog. I was beside myself. Dear JENNIFER was my Harri and Lucy's very first friend on dogster. Mum was beside herself thinking something real bad had happened. OMD I'm so pleased to hear from you. We are good. Well Mum's not great but she's ok. Just ancient and having a few eye troubles but we still do what we can here and on the book of faces now too. Crikey it's good to hear from you. Please keep in touch. I've missed you so much. Mums going to try again to friend you on the book of faces. She doesn't do much there but finds it a good place if used wisely.

I am so sorry we had you worried. I will have to nip at my Mommy's heels to bark from time to time. She doesn't do the book of faces much and can go months without looking at it. Yes, I still ring the bells.

It's so good to hear yu bark! We don't got the inner nets here at our Color Red Oh house so Mommy has to tap wurds out on her smart fone, she ain't too good at it so she reads blogs but don't comment much.

I don't think our Mommy's have their priorities straight! Mommy is thinking about putting in a pressed concrete patio in the back next year. She wanted to see if she liked the walkway in the front. We are so much like twins! Our vet has Mommy mixing some dental kibble with my regular kibble. Mommy didn't want to do it but she did. A year later and we can say it really worked, my teeth are nice and white. My Mommy is actually retired from her last job where she worked for 30 years. This is a post retirement job that she has. I think she is mixed up because retirement means working less not more! She tells people she will retire when she doesn't like the job any more but she is thinking in the range of 1 to 4 years. I think we need to petition the Internet company to install it to your house. Maybe we need a protest rally at their head office?? I will go and start making picket signs that say, "Install Internet at Zoe's house". Jelly runs off to get started.....
